To monitor and manage AWS costs, you’ll need to enable Cost Explorer. 🔗 Open the Cost Explorer Console When opening Cost Explorer for the first time, AWS may ask you to:
  • Configure your billing preferences
  • Validate your account
You’ll see a prompt like the one below, it’s safe to click Complete your AWS registration and continue. Cost Explorer confirmation Figure: Cost Explorer is successfully enabled.
